Mealworm Wranglers!

As a part of our Metamorphosis unit, we are observing the life cycle of the mealworm. Creepy, crawly, tickly and adorable, these larvae have giant mouths, making them true eating machines! We had four chrysalises (sp?) form before spring break. How many will there be when we and the worms return from vacation Monday? What creature will they finally become? The answer to these questions and more await us in the classroom!

Space Museum!

On Wednesday, March 3, our class visited the Middle School's annual Space Museum. The Middle School students did a stellar job of creating informative, interactive exhibits. Students were fully engaged in activities such as...painting planets, skateboarding through black holes, and concocting nebulas.
